Director, Administration
Rotarian Comfort Alli-Babalola is a social development professional with over 12 years’
experience in non-profit management and leadership, particularly in the administration and
implementation of child education and protection, child rights advocacy and promotion of the
SDGs.
Comfort is a Project Director at Street Child Care and Welfare Initiative (SCCWI). This not-forprofit organisation caters for the welfare of street and vulnerable children in Nigeria, with
affiliations in France, Belgium, and Canada.
She joined SCCWI 12 years ago as a volunteer before taking over as the Project Manager in
2009. In 2012 she became a member of the Board of SCCWI NGO and, in 2014, was elected the
President of the Board, a position she holds to date.
Aside from humanitarian service, Comfort Alli-Babalola is a Founder at CORA H. Consulting, a
fast-growing H.R. firm targeting SMEs.
Comfort is an Alumnus of the Prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria,
where she holds a B.Sc. (Hons) Geography. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered
Institute of Personnel Management, the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development, and the
Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). She holds a certificate in Project Management
from JK Michaels Institute; a certificate in Social Sector Management from the Enterprise
Development Centre of the Pan Atlantic University, sponsored by African American Institute (AAI);
a certificate in Child Protection from Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Centre,
Haifa, Israel; and an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School, Nigeria. She is an affiliate of
the National Association of Social Workers, Maryland, USA. She also holds management level
certificates from Yale School of Management, Connecticut, USA; IESE Business School,
Barcelona; and IE Business School, Madrid, Spain, amongst others.
Over the past 12 years, her achievements have earned her government accolades, recognition,
awards, and partnership from both local and international organisations.
Among others, she has served as the Chair, Stakeholders Engagement and Management. She
currently serves as the Director of Club Administration.
Comfort is a travel enthusiast, a networker, the life of the party who loves to volunteer at any given
opportunity. She is a daughter, Sister, Wife and Mother to many children
